Chic Strat: New Reading

Wanted to give you a quick update on some new reading that I'm trying to fit into an already crazy schedule (this is the fun of life!)...

If you love fashion AND the quality, fit, and absolutely unattainable appeal of high-end, then you'll love Gilt ... for reversing that unattainable factor through such an exciting shopping experience. I was/am fascinated with the concept and was thrilled to hear that the co-founders, Alexis and Alexandra, wrote a book on their innovative adventures. It's called 'By Invitation Only' and I'm told it's a must read for anyone with a dream and an entrepreneurial spirit (ding ding ding! me?!?! and you?!?!). 

I'll drop the book's pearls as I make my way through it. Stay tuned!

Sugar High

Here are my pics from Easter.. Looong overdue, wasn't intending to keep you on your toes for two weeks :/ So hello again! How's everybody been doing??

As you will see Easter was a fun time; spent the day relaxing, baking, over-eating, and getting silly in this crazy photo shoot. I've started to fully break out my colourful pieces again in preparation for Summer (not that I ever stopped!). Loving how most of the outfit is engendered from a single hue but the blue flats and necklace come through with the necessary POP! Also a big fan of how this slouchy beanie sits on my head - it provides just the right amount of cosy.

Keep going to catch more angles and close ups and some ridiculous outtakes from the shoot.

Sneak Preview: Sugar High

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you spent an enjoyable day with your close ones.

Just wrapped an absolutely hilarious photo shoot and here for you is a quick preview of what is to come. I blame the antics on the red velvet cheese cake (read: DISASTER, don't let me in the kitchen!!)  I just baked and the sugary batter that was consumed while it was baking :-) Hope I have the courage to post all the craziness that took place.
